Kids know less about smartphones even than Nokia!

I mean, just listen to some of these suggestions for what the smartphone of the future will look like! Steve Jobs is turning in his grave. But seriously, it will be interesting to see what "Made of Imagination" really means to Sony in a world where every Android phone is all but identical. Smells like BS to me...

An introduction to Sharepoint

Many of our customers have Microsoft Sharepoint installed on their servers, but very few use it. Which is a shame, because solutions like this are exactly what they need to get collaboration moving on the kinds of projects were are working on. Here's a quick introduction:

The problem we have essentially found is that management doesn't have time to even glance at tools that will certainly make their work more effective and enjoyable than ever. It would be equally short- sighed of us NOT to insist that these tools are not only understood, but also used on a day-to-day basis. Change does not happen on its own.

Customer service starts with the products you make and how you sell them

If you own a Nokia N97, you will be cursing the bastards that lied to you when you bought it - and sharing this video with everyone you know. Sorry Nokia, but it puts the iPhone 4's antenna issues into perspective, and makes even non-Apple fanboys like me just a little bit thankful to Steve Jobs for shaking up the mobile market. Nokia used to be a great brand, but I'm giving it five years.

If you can type, you can make a film

This clip, which is all over the geek Internet, is pretty funny, but it's not something the average person can't do, thanks to xtranormal.com. The platform was made by a Best Buy (a big US gadget chain) employee soon to lose his job - but who will no doubt get a better one in no time. The beauty of it is that all you need to do is pick a scenario of the shelf and then add your script. The computer reads  it out and hey presto, you have your own animated feature. So simple, yet so effective.

IBM wants to know your favourite colour

Color Sensitive Interactive Billboard from milton cj on Vimeo.

It's so simple, it's easy to scoff, but there's also great potential for businesses to tune into customers in new ways. More importantly, it is a great way for stores to gather data on what their customers are wearing. Another example of how a better customer experience works both ways.
